PRODUCTION PROCESS

The process of creating any film or video project involves three main stages of production: pre-production, filming, and post-production.

1. Setting the Date: Once the budget is finalized or tentatively agreed upon based on the concept, we proceed to set a date, formalize an agreement with a contract, and move to pre-production.

2. Pre-Production: This is the planning phase where the foundation for the entire project is laid out. This stage includes tasks such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, hiring the needed crew, casting, location scouting, securing permits, booking rentals, production design, set building, wardrobe, hair/makeup, and scheduling.

  • Casting: After reaching out to different agencies and/or putting up an open casting call, a semi-final list is shared to pick the talent we'd like to call in for an audition. After the audition, the final talent is picked.

  • Locations: Different locations are presented during pre-production for us to pick from.

3. Filming: This is where the project comes to life. During this phase, the actual video or film footage is captured. The cast and crew work together on set, guided by the director’s vision, to adhere to the schedule and bring the script to reality.

  • Shoot Days: Most short-form videos such as commercials, music videos and web videos can all be filmed in one or two days. Some might take longer depending on the scope of work. Meanwhile TV and Film productions require weeks, and even months, of work.

4. Post-Production: After filming, we move on to the final stage where the captured footage is transformed into a finished product. This phase involves editing the video, color grading, sound design, music composition, and adding motion graphics, visual effects and/or computer-generated imagery  The goal of post-production is to polish the material, ensuring a cohesive story that aligns with the creative vision, before it’s ready for distribution.

5. Distribution: We're ready to share the project with the world!
